Introduction
Hype Energy wasn’t a company I’d heard of until a few weeks ago. As part of my “Get Better at Twitter” campaign, I was randomly searching for various things and stumbled upon HYPE. After seeing one of their posts, I immediately went to https://www.hype.com to check out their website and send them a little message. While PC component reviews are our specialty at Enos Tech, I like to reach out to other companies that are still in the tech/gaming industry but don’t offer the normal range of products we look at. Much to my surprise, the folks at Hype were pretty quick to respond to me and were happy to send me a few samples to “test”!
Much to my wife’s dismay, I’ve been enjoying energy drinks for nearly 14 years now. While there are plenty of horror stories and they certainly aren’t for everyone, when used correctly, they can really help with many things. When I started drinking energy drinks, it helped me get through my long work days. Now I like to enjoy one in the morning like other people drink their coffee, and sometimes I’ll have a second one if I need a bit of energy or really want to focus on something. When enjoyed responsibly, energy drinks can give you that little extra boost that helps you get the task at hand done.
The folks at Hype Energy seem to have a wide range of interests, from gaming to racing. Hype even has some great brand ambassadors like Kim Kardashian, Mohammed Reza Golzar, and Aryana Sayeed. But that’s not all! Hype even sponsors F1 teams like the Sahara Force F1 Team and is very involved in events like the Grand Prix. Tasting
This drink has a light cinnamon flavor and a strong cinnamon smell. When I first opened the can I was a bit scared to try it as I’m not a huge cinnamon fan. But it was fine and not too bad. The taste is definitely not as strong as the smell and it tastes like they just added cinnamon to a regular energy drink which was fine for me.
Enlite
This is the low calorie version for those who want a bit more energy but are still watching their calorie intake. The taste is not bad at all and really tastes like a liter version of a regular energy drink.
MFP - Maximum Energy
The big boy on the block! The Maximum Energy version with the taste of a more standard energy drink. As far as regular energy drinks go, this one has a great taste that isn’t too strong and lasts a long time which is nice. While I like different flavors, I’ve long been a fan of the more standard energy drink taste and Hyper didn’t disappoint.
Sugar Free
The sugar free version isn’t too bad as far as sugar free drinks go. Sugar free isn’t my personal favorite, but this one was fine and didn’t have an overly sugar free taste. I was able to drink both cans that the folks at Hype sent me.
Ice Berry Mix
This was my absolute favorite! The Ice Berry Mix was great and had a very nice berry flavor. I’m a huge fan of fruity drinks and this one hits the spot and would have to be Hype’s number 1 flavor that I would recommend. If you find this one in stores and like fruity drinks, do yourself a favor and get one!
Mojito
This one is perfect almost any time, but especially on a hot summer day. The Mojito flavor perfectly captures the essence of lime and mint while providing the added benefits of an energy drink. I highly recommend this one too.
Overall, I was pretty happy with all of the drinks Hype sent me. One thing I thought was pretty cool that I didn’t get to try was that they actually have a cocktail section on their website. These recipes contain alcohol so they’re definitely for adults only, but if you want to add some fun to things, it’s definitely worth checking out. I hope to try a few of their recipes in the future and see how well they make energy cocktails!
A huge thank you to Hype for sending me some of their energy drinks to try! Be sure to try them out and also check out the video below where I go into a little more detail about the flavors and show off some of the incredible stuff they have to offer too!
